Design and Features

Performance and Overclocking
We tested the 16GB (2 x 8GB) kit rated at 3200MHz with CL16 timings on an AMD Ryzen platform.
- Stock Performance: The kit performs flawlessly out of the box with XMP 2.0 enabled.
- Overclocking: We successfully pushed the kit to 3466MHz. Remarkably, we achieved this with tightened timings of CL14 at 1.380V. This resulted in a roughly 7.5% boost in read speeds.
Software Control
The iCUE software is robust. It gives users total control over the lighting effects. You can synchronize patterns like “Spiral Rainbow” or “Rain” across multiple Corsair devices.
While the software is powerful, it is required to read the onboard thermal sensors. Third-party tools like HWInfo64 may not detect them.
