The Blaupunkt BH71 Moksha enters the fiercely competitive under-₹5,000 headphone market with ambitious promises. It boasts hybrid Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), 360-degree spatial audio, and real-time head tracking.

These features usually appear in headphones costing two or three times as much. At ₹4,999, the BH71 aims to democratize premium audio tricks. For the most part, it succeeds, though not without a few compromises.

The Blaupunkt BH71 Moksha enters the fiercely competitive under-₹5,000 headphone market with ambitious promises. Design and Comfort

The BH71 does not scream “premium,” but it looks clean and practical. It is built for everyday use.

  • Build: You get memory soft protein ear pads, a padded headband, and metal structural components.
  • Portability: The foldable design makes it suitable for both desk work and travel.
  • Fit: The clamping force is balanced. It is secure enough to stay put while walking but comfortable enough for multi-hour listening sessions.

While the build leans more utilitarian than stylish, comfort clearly takes priority. This works in its favor for office use and daily commuting.

Sound Performance

Audio quality is where the BH71 quietly impresses. The 40mm drivers deliver a balanced sound profile with punchy bass, clean mids, and controlled treble.

However, the standout feature is the 360-degree spatial audio combined with gyro-based head tracking. This dynamically shifts the soundstage based on your head movement.

  • Gaming & Movies: Watching movies or gaming with this mode feels genuinely immersive. Dialogue stays anchored while background sounds move naturally around you.
  • Verdict: It isn’t quite at the level of high-end competitors, but at this price point, it feels borderline unreal.

Active Noise Cancellation

Blaupunkt’s hybrid true ANC setup uses a quad AI microphone array to cancel ambient noise. In everyday scenarios—like traffic hum, construction noise, or office chatter—it works reliably well.

While it does not completely silence loud environments like aircraft cabins, it reduces background distractions significantly. This improves music clarity and focus. For work calls and travel, the performance feels solid, especially considering the aggressive pricing.

Battery Life

The BH71 delivers stress-free battery life.

  • With ANC: Expect around 22–24 hours of mixed usage (calls, music, streaming).
  • Without ANC: The headphones easily stretch past 35 hours.
  • Charging: Fast charging is a lifesaver. Plugging it in for just 10 minutes gives roughly 4–5 hours of listening time.

Pros and Cons

ProsCons
Spatial audio with head trackingDesign could feel more premium
Reliable Hybrid ANCSpatial audio is “fun” rather than accurate
Excellent battery life (35+ hours)ANC lacks deep silence for loud areas
Comfortable for long sessions

Verdict: Should You Buy It?

The Blaupunkt BH71 Moksha isn’t perfect. The design is simple, and the spatial audio is more “fun impressive” than “audiophile accurate.”

However, at ₹4,999, it delivers an absurd number of high-end features. In a segment where most headphones struggle to get basic ANC right, the BH71 stands out. For users who want immersive sound, long-lasting comfort, and practical noise cancellation, this is one of the most compelling value buys in India right now.
